It all began when I took a pottery class in college. It didn’t matter how bad I was at it; I loved it. It gave me a sense of grounding, and calm. I loved it so much that after moving away from my home town, getting married, and having babies, I still missed it. So six years from taking that college pottery class, I ordered a wheel, some clay, and some glaze and started to relearn. It still gives me the same sense of peace amid chaos that it did all those years ago.
